Our General Manager has qualified as a Pets As Therapy Assessor, helping dog and cat owners to share their pets’ love with those who need it most.

Beth MacLeod-Birch already takes her Sprocker Spaniel, Martha, to visit residents in our partners’ care homes after Martha successfully passed the charity’s assessment to become a therapy dog.

These visits have brought so much joy to hundreds of people in care homes and other care settings, and Martha never fails to make people smile.

Now, Beth has become an assessor to ensure dog and cat owners can safely take their pets into schools, hospitals, care homes and community groups to bring the comfort and companionship to others.

Well done, Beth! 🩷💙👏

Today is International Dog Day! 🐶

We’re celebrating our therapy dog, Martha, and our office dog, Marnie, who bring joy to so many lives every day.

Martha qualified as a therapy dog after being assessed by a volunteer from the Pets As Therapy charity to confirm her calm, kind and gentle nature. She visits care homes and other care settings, creating smiles wherever she goes.

Marnie is also a big part of the Care Connection Partners family, enjoying her time in the office and sharing cuddles.

We loved supporting one of our amazing partners at their recent charity dog shows, helping to raise funds for local mental health services.

Our General Manager, Beth MacLeod-Birch, and her husband James, our Business Development Manager, took their dogs, Martha and Mabel, along to Hull and East Yorkshire Mind’s Pups in the Park event at Pearson Park, west Hull, on July 11, and East Park, east Hull, on August 16.
