🚛 HGV TRAINING SPACES NOW AVAILABLE! 🚛

Are you looking to start a new career in professional driving, increase your earning potential, or upgrade your existing licence?

Humber Training and Driver Solutions provides professional HGV training in Hull, delivered by experienced and qualified instructors. We support you throughout your training and help you build the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for your practical driving test.

Our current training prices are:

C1 Training – £1,000
Ideal for anyone wanting to drive vehicles between 3.5 and 7.5 tonnes, including ambulances, recovery vehicles and larger delivery vans.

Category C (Class 2) – £1,700
Train to drive rigid HGVs over 7.5 tonnes. This licence can open the door to work in haulage, removals, construction, waste collection and local deliveries.

Category C+E (Class 1) – £2,400
Train to drive the largest articulated lorries. A Class 1 licence can provide access to a wider range of driving opportunities, including general haulage, containers, trunking and long-distance work.

Whether you are completely new to HGV driving or looking to upgrade your existing licence, our friendly team will explain the process and help you understand your next steps.

Training is completed using our own vehicles with professional instruction from start to finish.

🚛 STAY SAFE AROUND HGVs 🚛

Lorries have large blind spots where drivers may struggle to see cars, cyclists and pedestrians, especially alongside the cab, directly behind the trailer and immediately in front.

⚠️ Keep a safe distance and avoid tailgating.
⚠️ Never linger alongside an HGV or squeeze up the inside.
⚠️ Give lorries plenty of room when turning.
⚠️ Do not pull out closely in front—HGVs need longer to stop.
⚠️ Cyclists and pedestrians should stay well back at junctions.

If you cannot see the driver’s mirrors, the driver may not see you.
