Here’s the thing: experience doesn’t only come from a full-time 9-to-5 job. Internships, freelance work, campus organizations, personal projects, and volunteer work can all show what you’re capable of.

So if you see a role you like and you don’t tick every single box, don’t immediately count yourself out.

Focus on what you can do, highlight your achievements, and let your portfolio speak for you. Sometimes the job description is describing their “ideal” candidate, not the only candidate they’ll consider.

If your answer is still “because I’m hardworking and a fast learner”… you might want to rethink it. 😭

Your answer should show more than what you’re good at. Show what you’ve done, what you can bring to the role, and why your experience matters to the company.

Remember: you don’t need to prove you’re better than everyone else.

You need to prove that you’re relevant to what they need.

A simple update like:
