QEHS Engineer - Rainham, Essex £48-£52k
Our client is recruiting for an experienced QEHS Engineer for their facility in Rainham, Essex.
As a QEHS Engineer you are responsible to ensure that the company is in compliance with safe working practices. You follow company policies and procedures and support adherence across the site. You will complete required training and support the delivery of such training to personnel where required, this all to meet internal and external standards. Occasionally, you may be asked by management to carry out additional duties.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Specific

Support the maintenance and improvement of the internal Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO9001 requirements.
Monitor and report on quality and EHS KPIs, supporting improvement actions.
Assist in the customer complaint and warranty process, including investigation and follow-up actions.
Conduct internal audits and support audit preparation and close-out activities.
Create and maintain all quality procedures and documentation to always ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support third-party audits and certification processes as required.
Assist in maintaining RISQS accreditation requirements.
Maintain and update the employee competency and training matrix.
Support supplier quality activities, including audits and performance reviews.
Ensure calibration activities are completed and recorded in line with requirements.

EHS Specific

Support the development and maintenance of EHS policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and assist in implementing control measures.
Carry out site inspections and report findings, supporting corrective actions.
Assist in delivering EHS training and awareness activities.
Support compliance with corporate EHS requirements and initiatives.
Assist with external audits and regulatory inspections.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and support corrective action implementation.
Support the management and distribution of PPE.
Ensure EHS inductions are completed and recorded as required.
Responsibilities and Accountability
Support compliance with the Quality Management System and ensure assigned actions are completed effectively.
Support compliance with EHS systems and contribute to continuous improvement.
Act with integrity and uphold company values in all activities.
Support customer-focused quality performance and improvement initiatives.
Ensure assigned tasks and responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
Promote and follow all Business Values.

SKILLS

Proficient in investigation tools & techniques
Good verbal and written communication skills
Process driven.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Degree or Equivalent vocational Qualification in Mechanical engineering principle.
EHS Qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH desirable.
5+ Years working in a quality function within manufacturing or engineering
Experience working with ISO standards
Internal Auditor Trained.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in central London, they are looking for a full time Security Officer to work within a school, the hours for this position are 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday, term time, paying £14.80 per hour, paid weekly.
During the school holidays our client will offer alternative shifts at other locations if you require.
Duties will be to guard entrances, issue visitor passes, offer assistance to pupils & parents if required, patrol of the grounds and school areas, CCTV monitoring, reception.

The ideal candidate will need,

A valid Door Supervisor License.
A valid enhanced DBS, so you are able to work with children.
You must be on the update register.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience with security.
5 years checkable work history.
Full right to work in the UK, we cannot accept student or skilled worker visas.
Be able to travel into London for those times.
Experience of working on school or other educational site is preferred.

Please be aware due to the nature of the role you will be expected to be impeccably groomed and have clear communication skills.
Hours of work are Mon-Fri 07.00 to 17.00

Trainee Production Manager - Rainham, Essex, £40-£45k

We are recruiting for our prestigious client based in Rainham, Essex.
This is an exciting new role, which has been created through company growth & expansion. The ideal candidate will be mentored to become a Production Manager within the facility. It would ideally suit someone from a manufacturing background,who wants to take the next carreer step up from a team leader for example, but this is not essential, as attitude, aptitude, and willingness to learn count for more!

Purpose
To undertake a structured development programme to gain full operational competence across all production departments, with the objective of progressing into a Production Management role.
The role includes responsibility for Health & Safety coordination.
The role reports to the Director of Operations and the Managing Director.

General Responsibilities
Training & Operational Development
Participate in a structured departmental rotation programme (approximately 3 months per department)
Develop a comprehensive understanding of all production processes, including both traditional/manual systems and modern automated equipment.
Support the day-to-day management of production operations to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.
Support the department supervisors with day-to-day people management.

Production & Operational Support
Assist in planning and coordinating production activities.
Monitor performance against KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Liaise with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure effective communication and workflow.

Health & Safety
Act as Health & Safety Coordinator for the site.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and internal policies.
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations as required.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date Health & Safety records and documentation.

Administration & Compliance
Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and compliance records.
Complete reports, documentation, and internal communications in a timely manner
Support audits and ensure documentation is maintained to required standards.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Structured cross-departmental training programme
Formal management development training
Ongoing coaching and mentoring from senior management.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
Your normal minimum hours of work are 40 hours per week.
8:00 - 16:30 (two breaks of 15 mins plus 30 minutes lunch break)
It may be required from time to time for the individual to perform other duties or job roles as dictated by business needs.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
Essential Criteria:-
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a manufacturing environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work across a mixed-technology environment (legacy and modern equipment)
Desirable Criteria - not essential
Experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
Health & Safety qualification e.g.or working towards, NEBOSH, IOSH)
Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
Experience with injection moulding

We are recruiting for an Assembly Operative for our client based in the Dagenham Dock area. The production facility is a modern, clean and well equipped working environment.
Duties will include the assembly of electrical and mechanical parts, use of hand and power tools, reading from basic blue print drawings.
Some parts are heavy - up to 20KG.
A lot of the time you will be working at a bench, so will be on your feet.
Candidates must have some mechanical or electrical assembly experience, motor mechanics would also be acceptable.
Hours of work are 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 12 midday Friday.
