NASDU accredited dog handler
Seeking a Level 2 NASDU accredited dog handler to join our team of security specialists. Duties and working locations will depend greatly upon the contract you are assigned. Dogs tend to be trained for one specialty skill such as identifying unusual activity.
General duties may include:
Level 2 NASDU accredited dog handlers can use their dog to enforce public order while on patrol. A primary role for a NASDU dog handler is pursuing and apprehending suspects that attempt to escape from officers.
• Responding to calls for police, including emergencies.
• Patrolling assigned areas with a trained dog.
• Issuing citations and making incident reports.
• Securing crime scenes and protecting evidence.
• Writing and filing reports.
Requirments:
Level 2 NASDU qualification
Access to vehicle and proper uniform
First Aid Kits for both dogs and humans.
Suitable cage.
Diligent food, water and waste management.
The handler must be responsible for maintaining complete control of the dog at all times, as this is a source of potential liability.
Salary:
● £9.50 - £10 Per Hour
● Paid monthly
