We all made it to the finish line.
Some of us made it into the Bournemouth Echo.
And a few of us just needed a minute to catch our breath 😂

Saturday night saw the Platinum gang back at Bournemouth’s Supernova 5K for the third time, with friends and family getting stuck in too.

There were first-ever 5ks, new-comers to the sport, and personal bests beaten. Everyone did so brilliantly, whether they were finding their feet with running or finding another gear.

Then on Sunday, it was Alix and Zsofia’s turn...
After months of training, both completed their first-ever 10k and absolutely smashed it. A huge well done, ladies. You should be so proud! 👏

Glow sticks, good laughs and some very well-earned finish-line grins. A brilliant weekend with this lovely lot!

Big thanks to Run Bournemouth for putting it all together!

One of our consultants grew up on a to***co farm in Africa. 🌍

Another is training for their 4th marathon. And one shares their home with a very stroppy miniature sausage dog 🐕

You might know the bakery. But do you know the story behind it?

If you're in Dorset, chances are you've walked past a Patisserie Mark Bennett shop, or picked up one of Mark's cakes for a birthday, a wedding, maybe both.

But six shops are only the latest chapter.

Before any of that, there was a 13-year-old starting at the bottom of the family bakery, an extraordinary mentor, a British title won while Mark was still a teenager. Years later, opening a bakery of his own came with a significant hurdle, one a good friend helped him clear.

Some of the best parts of Mark Bennett’s story have very little to do with the success you can see today.

We sat down with Mark at his family home to hear it from the start.
