Supporting warehouse in all warehouse activities.

Processing received parcels and packages.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating acrylic components and assemblies, ensuring precision and quality throughout the production process. This is a temporary role starting 14th September for up to 10 weeks The hourly rate is between £18ph to £20ph depending on experience

Duties

Operate fabrication equipment, including milling machines, to produce acrylic parts according to specifications.
Use hand tools and tooling to cut, shape, and assemble acrylic components.
Interpret technical drawings and CAD files using SolidWorks and other CAD software to ensure accurate fabrication.
Programme and operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated processes.
Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and movement within the warehouse setting.
Perform welding tasks where necessary to join acrylic or related materials securely.
Conduct basic measurements and calculations using basic maths skills to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times.
