Enterprise Personnel are assisting our client who are seeking a 3.5t driver / Stores Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis. The role is roughly a 50/50 split between driving and stores.

Stores

Dealing with deliveries, ensuring they are correct and booking in to the system
Picking and packing orders ready for collection or delivery
Ensuring stock is booked out correctly using the in house computer system
Completing stock counts
Keeping computerised records up to date
Dealing with customers over the phone and face to face
Driving

Making deliveries within a 20 mile radius of Biggleswade
Using a PDA to confirm delivery
Providing excellent customer service
Relay feedback from customers to the office
Dealing with returned stock

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

To slit the liner and maintain stock records, operate the liner slitter machine
To cut, bag & tape bespoke product lengths as per schedule
To operate the mould cutting machine and cut moulds as per schedule.
Perform random QC checks
To prioritise daily workload as to the manufacturing schedule
To communicate any issues to Production Manager
Counterbalance licence essential
Engineering background advantageous but not essential
To adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
To report any unsafe acts or Health, Safety and Environmental incidents
Maintain good level of housekeeping
Any other ad hoc duties
Hours: two shift system on a 4 week rotating basis

You will need to hold a current counterbalance. The Company manufactures and shapes various products made from cardboard.

Duties include:-

Unloading incoming deliveries and making sure they match the delivery note supplied
Preparing item for despatch and loading on the lorry and checking that the stock matches the despatch note and is going to the correct location.
Making sure your work area is kept clean and tidy
Assisting in production as when needed

You will be unloading lorries with a Counterbalance forklift, measuring materials, counting materials, and recording data.

As the business continues to grow, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to support both the growth and delivery of new and existing work.

This is a varied, hands-on role that combines business development, client relationship management, and operational support. You will not only help win new contracts but also play a key role in ensuring they are successfully mobilised and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and secure new maintenance and service contracts
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Attend client meetings and site visits
Undertake occasional presentations
Work closely with internal teams to support service delivery and mobilisation of new contracts
Liaise with subcontractors and support operational coordination where required
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of operatives as needed

About you

Enterprise Personnel are assisting our client who are a growing and well-established air conditioning specialist, looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their expanding team.
We are looking for a qualified engineer who takes pride in their work, works well within a team environment, and is confident handling installations from start to finish.

The role will involve:

Installation of single split and multi-split air conditioning systems
Working on both domestic and commercial projects
Pipework, containment, testing and commissioning
Diagnosing faults and supporting service works where required
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
Working alongside surveyors, electricians and installation teams
Travelling to sites outside the local area when required
Majority of projects (approx. 75%) are domestic, including ventilation systems
There is also an in-house electrical department, and engineers may occasionally assist with related works when required
Ideal Requirements

Ideally 5 years’ experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer
Valid F-Gas Certification
Relevant air conditioning qualifications/certifications
Full UK driving licence
Experience installing both single split and multi-split systems
Experience within domestic and commercial environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Reliable, professional and organised attitude
Experience with brands such as Daikin, Panasonic, Mitsubishi or similar preferred
Preferred

Based locally to Bedfordshire or surrounding areas
CSCS card beneficial but not a must
Experience with ducted systems or ventilation advantageous
Electrical knowledge an advantage
