ECL are urgently seeking to recruit two Senior Contracts/Commercial Manager who will be based in Jordan on a residential contract.
• Minimum Degree / MRICS qualified;
• Contractually astute, capable of drafting upstream & downstream correspondence;
• Experienced in hotel / leisure / retail projects in excess of US$ 600m;
• Experienced in major VO’s & Claims – identification, formulation, drafting, quantum, arbitration;
• Capable of managing and directing a small multinational team;
• Client-facing – must be capable of high-level discussion / negotiation with client / JV partners / 3rd party consultants.

Scope=The project is a mixed use resort development located on the coastline of the Gulf of Aqaba (on the Red Sea).
Developed on a total area of 634,000 m2, the project is composed of 4 hotels and 14 bungalows, under various operators, a water park, beach club, an old city located in the centre of the project, with mixed use areas such as restaurants, a conference centre, retail, offices and small apartments, all bounded by a large variety of villas and residences of different design types. The resort surrounds a man-made lagoon which creates an additional beachfront of 1.5km for the development. The scope includes the civil/site developments works, completion of buildings, utility and support works necessary to complete the project. The construction of the project began in 2006 and ceased in 2010.

This position will be based in Saudi Arabia working on a Petrochemical construction project. We are seeking candidates who have extensive experience working on major constructions projects with a value of over 1 billion dollars, who also have experience working in the Gulf/Middle East.
Skills Required
1) Candidate should have gulf experience and over & above 15 years in managing civil works.
2) Should have managed civil works in the field of Oil, Petrochemical & Gas field.
3) English fluency is must.
