From a survey of more than 1,200 HR decision-makers and recruiters, participants were asked what the top motivations for job seekers finding a new job were. The outcome was that those pursuing more money came out on top, followed by employees seeking more flexible working arrangements.

Today is

Time to Talk Day is a campaign run by charities MIND and Rethink Mental Illness in partnership with Co-op. The day is about creating supportive communities amongst friends, family, and colleagues, and having a safe space to have conversations about mental health.

The campaign was first launched in 2014, to end the stigma and discrimination associated with Mental Health, and continues to raise awareness, by encouraging us all to support ourselves and others.

For most, a large proportion of our day is spent in the workplace. Therefore, creating a safe community at work is important when it comes to employee well-being. We encourage you to empower your colleagues to seek help when they need it, and at other times to be a supportive network and a listening ear.

With sadness we announce today is our fantastic Operations Director, Abbie Watson's last day working with us at MDM Consultants Ltd.

Abbie has been a crucial part of the team over the past 4 years, originally joining us as a Talent Consultant, she has ventured into many aspects of the business such as; becoming our marketing manager; then onto a senior account manager and an amazing talent partner to two of our TPS clients.

"I am so proud of her and know that she’s going to go on to do amazing things with my continued support as always" - Mark Martin.

Abbie will be hugely missed by the whole team, but we truly know that this is not goodbye, just farewell for now!
We wish the best of luck to Abbie in her future ventures! 🙌
