A common question we hear from HR professionals is "How can I best support an employee returning from extended leave?"
Whether it's a medical absence, an accident, or any other circumstance that's affected someone's ability to work, knowing how to best support their return-to-work can feel overwhelming.

We understand that managing leaves of absence and bringing employees back to work can be more complex than anticipated. To help simplify the process, we've developed a Return-to-Work Toolkit, complete with resources and templates, for you to use and apply in your workplace.

Today is International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples.

This year's theme is "Honouring Indigenous Midwives: Safeguarding Life and Well-being". Since time immemorial, the Indigenous midwives of Turtle Island have been the cornerstones of their communities. They are the knowledge keepers, ceremony holders, community healers, leaders and guardians of traditional practices - nurturing both the physical and spiritual well-being of the families in their communities.

With colonial disruption, those practices nearly went away. Today, many Indigenous midwives across Canada are leading a powerful movement to reclaim birth for their communities.
