INLAND SALES MANAGER | GAUTENG based

Responsible for driving sales growth and managing key accounts across the inland region for a global leader in premium ophthalmic lenses and optical solutions. The role combines clinical expertise with commercial acumen to promote and support a portfolio of internationally recognised lens and eyewear brands to Eye Care Professionals. In addition to managing strategic customer relationships and business development initiatives, the position requires leadership and performance management of a sales team of approximately 10 representatives, ensuring the achievement of regional sales targets and the delivery of exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include developing new markets, implementing sales and marketing strategies, delivering product and business training, providing technical support on lens products and dispensing solutions, and coaching team members to maximise performance. The role also involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and commercial teams on forecasting, reporting, product launches, and customer support initiatives while keeping clients informed of the latest optical technologies, industry developments, and practice-enhancing solutions.
