Code for Change ( previously Change the World Trust ) was launched in 2009 and is the leading organisation driving coding (computer programming skills) in schools in SA. We are team of passionate young individuals who are dedicated to bringing coding skills into every secondary school. Partner with local government, grass-roots organisations and communities to ensure sustainability. We believe in

awakening the latent potential of youth in disadvantaged communities through introducing them to the world of technology. Our hands-on training programs are designed to empower and develop young people to use these skills to find purposeful employment and enhance the quality of their lives.

Today coach NongweWw Rsa recruited a new school in Tembisa, Jiyane Secondary School. He is training grade 10s and 11s who are doing Computer Application Technology. Kids are using the CodeJIKA program as a tool for revision while prepping for their upcoming tests.
