STORES OPERATIVE - KIRKBYMOORSIDE

We’re looking for an experienced Stores Operative to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment in Kirkbymoorside.

£13.50 per hour
Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Temporary ongoing
Overtime available at enhanced rates

The role:

Managing and organising stock within the stores
Receiving, checking and moving materials
Picking materials for production
Supporting the wider warehouse and production teams
Ensuring stock is stored accurately and safely
General stores and warehouse duties

We’re looking for:

Previous warehouse or stores experience is essential
Manufacturing or engineering experience would be beneficial
FLT licence would be an advantage, but is not essential
Good attention to detail and organisation
Flexibility to work weekends when required
Own transport required unless you live locally

We’re looking for reliable and flexible Potato Graders to join a busy agricultural business during the potato harvesting and grading season.

What will you be doing?

Grading and sorting potatoes on a production line
Checking potatoes for size, quality and condition
Removing damaged or unsuitable potatoes
Helping with bagging, packing and moving potatoes
Keeping the work area clean and tidy
Working as part of a busy team

The hours:

Working 5 days over 7
Hours can vary depending on workload
Some weeks could be 60 hrs, wilst quieter weeks may be around 20 hours
Flexible availability is therefore essential

What we’re looking for:

Reliable and hardworking
Comfortable with physical work and standing for long periods
Able to work at pace

Own transport is essential
