Flinders Education Student Association - FESA FESA is the student organisation that works to represent education students, organise social events and create an education community for future teachers.

Flinders Education Student Association is the on-campus student organisation that exists for the purpose of representing students, organising social events, and create a community of Flinders Education Students. This is group for past and present students to find out what’s going on around the university that concerns them, to meet others students, and be a part of social events.

TIX: $115 (non-member); $105 (member) (+$0.50 fee per ticket)

Our has just shared an awesome tool for all of you education students as we head back into our learning and placements!

StoryBox Hub is an educational digital platform that brings together two literacy resources: Story Box Library and Story Tools.

The platform provides children with access to stories written by local authors and illustrators, which are read aloud by mostly Australian storytellers. Through the Story Box Library, students can watch and listen to these stories, helping to build reading engagement and literacy skills. Story Tools complements this by offering a structured story-writing program designed for students in Grades 3–6, teaching them the mechanics of storytelling and helping them develop their own creative writing skills.

Overall, StoryBox Hub aims to support literacy and education by using storytelling to connect, engage, inspire, and educate children. The platform promotes creativity, celebrates diverse voices, collaborates with communities, and encourages trust, respect, and authentic learning experiences.
