A Polish family residing in Constantia is seeking a qualified, proactive, and education-focused live-in governess/au pair for their three children, aged 3, 5, and 7.
The successful candidate will develop customised academic extension programmes in Mathematics, Phonics, and English to supplement the children’s school curriculum. They will also create an engaging, enjoyable, and structured environment at home and while travelling.

𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
• Design and implement a customised weekly learning timetable
• Provide academic tutoring and homework guidance
• Support English-language development
• Plan additional Phonics and Mathematics activities above grade level

• Oversee morning routines, school drop-offs, and pick-ups

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)

• Proven experience as a live-in au pair or governess
• Proven experience caring for multiple children
• At least three contactable references
• Clear criminal record
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive private background check
• Valid South African driver’s licence
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Valid South African passport
• An EU or UK passport would be advantageous
• No dependants
• Fully available for international travel and live-in flexibility

📅 Start date: Immediately, with an opportunity to shadow the current au pair
🕐 Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00–18:00/19:00

Are you energetic, organized, and looking for a long-term role? A lovely family in Wynberg with two working parents is seeking a proactive, caring candidate to support their four children (ages 13, 12, 6 & 4) and assist with household logistics. You’ll have break time during the day while the kids are at school!

💰 Salary: R15,000/month (Flat rate including school holidays) + extra hourly tutoring rate for strong Math tutors! ✨
📍 Location: Ellerslie Road, Wynberg, Cape Town
🏡 Accommodation: Live-in position (Private accommodation provided)

⏰ SCHEDULE
* Mon–Fri Morning: 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM (Morning routine & school drops)
* Mon–Fri Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Pickups, homework, play, dinner & bedtime)
* Saturday: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Sundays OFF!)

* Morning Routine: Get kids ready, pack lunches, and handle school drop-offs (3 girls to Wynberg Junior; 4yo boy to Claremont Montessori).
* Afternoon Logistics: Pickups (1 PM, 2 PM & 4 PM), fun indoor/outdoor active play with minimal screen time, and dinner prep (cooking skills are a huge plus! 🍲).
* Academic Support: Homework supervision, revision, and test prep for the older kids.
* Home Management: Light tidying of children's spaces, running occasional errands, and general household organization during non-driving hours.
* Evening Routine: Bath time and settling the younger children for bed.
