When Mum suddenly becomes restless, refuses to eat or doesn’t want to move, it can be easy to think she is being “difficult”.
But sometimes, behaviour is the clue.
Watch for subtle signs such as:
• grimacing
• guarding part of the body
• restlessness
• reduced appetite
• reluctance to move
If the change is new, persistent or concerning, don’t ignore it.
Sometimes, Mum may not be able to tell you clearly where it hurts, so careful observation matters.
At SingaCare Global, our caregivers are trained to support seniors with patience, attentiveness and compassionate care.
