I like to bring to the attention to those who direct hired their helper from overseas many from Myanmar Agencies. Employers are ask to pay 6 months upfront loans to the Myanmar agent when recruiting helpers from them. If problem arises, there will be no recourses, refund from them if the helper cannot finished their loan. Moreover, the Mynamar Agencies are not Sg licenced Agency and Sg employers cannot get the remaining loan back. It's a total loss for employers. Do be more careful when doing direct hire and paying 6 months or more loan upfront to overseas Agencies.
