In 2004, SMU-ISE was set up by a group of students who have the passion for social entrepreneurship. They initiated a few social entrepreneurship ventures such as Project Touch with SAVH (Singapore Assciation for the Visually Handicapped). Starting up other similar ventures, SMU-ISE then went on to represent SMU in the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) competition, and won the national title to r

epresent Singapore in the SIFE World Cup in Barcelona in 2004. In 2015, we renamed ourselves SMU Social Enterprise and we initiate programs that make a real difference to society by empowering various segments of society through sustainable business, ensuring continued support and provision of goods, services and employment to those who need it most.
