Singapore construction company doing metal roofing and facade works is looking for an Operations Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse construction drawings especially Architectural details.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and sub-contractors to determine project specifications.
- Conduct risk evaluation. Determine job requirements including equipment, materials, and manpower.
- Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements.
- Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule.
- Hire contractors and other staff. Manage resources and allocate responsibilities according to work schedule and demands.
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
- Maintain site safety standards and comply with regulations and codes.
- Attend site meetings, resolve site problems and prepare management reports.
- Oversee construction projects. Ensure all schedules and deadlines are met.
- Train, supervise and mentor construction team members on site.
Requirements:
- Good project management, leadership, time management and people skills.
- Those with experience in roofing, facade or architectural construction works preferred.
- Minimum Diploma in construction related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant site and project management experience.
- Possess own transport (motorcycle or car) or a Class 3 driving license.
