A construction company in Singapore is seeking responsible, hardworking and safety-conscious Construction Workers to join its project team.
✅Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties
• Assist in the installation of Earth Retaining and Stabilising Structures (ERSS).
• Carry out uPVC pipe laying and concreting works.
• Assist in cable laying and installation works.
• Perform manual earth trimming and excavation-related work in areas inaccessible to machinery.
Secondary Duties
• Carry out electric breaking and demolition-related work using appropriate tools.
• Assist with traffic control at construction sites, where trained and authorised.
• Perform rigger and signalman duties, subject to valid training and certification.
• Maintain general housekeeping, cleanliness and safety at the worksite.
• Follow supervisors' instructions, approved safe work procedures and workplace safety requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Valid BCA SEC(K) certification in a relevant construction trade.
• Relevant experience in civil engineering, construction or infrastructure works is an advantage.
• Able to perform physically demanding construction duties safely.
• Able to follow workplace safety instructions and work effectively within a team.
• Relevant certification is required before undertaking specialized duties such as rigging, signaling or traffic control, where applicable.
✅Salary & Employment Benefits
• Basic Salary: From S$21++ per day, negotiable based on relevant experience and qualifications.
• Working Days: 5.5 days per week.
• Normal Working Hours: 44 hours per week, excluding rest and meal breaks.
• Overtime: Paid at a minimum of 1.5 times the hourly basic rate, in accordance with the Employment Act.
• Accommodation: Provided by the employer.
• Rest Days and Public Holidays: In accordance with applicable Singapore employment laws.
Final salary and employment terms will be confirmed in the employer's written employment contract.
