Hiring for Japanese Cuisine Sous Chef X 2

Roles and Responsibilities

• Knowledge in cutting, slicing, and filleting different types of fish
• Inspecting the quality of fruits, vegetables, and fish used to prepare sushi dishes
• Preparing various types of sushi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety
• Maintaining a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination
• Washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients
• Properly washing and drying all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards
• Neatly putting away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes, and cutting boards in their respective places.
• Packing take-out orders as needed
• Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans.
• Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required
• Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.
• Ensure that kitchen and working area is properly organized and kept clean at all times.

Requirements

• 3 years relevant experience in the Japanese restaurant/ Izakaya
• Able to maintain high standard of food quality.
• Take full responsibility for food menu development.
• Capable to support every team in the kitchen.
• Creative and passionate.

Accounts Manager

Location: Tai Seng

Responsibilities:
• Handle invoice billings and SOA to clients.
• Updates daily collection.
• Follow-up on payment collections.
• Prepare month and closing (P&L, BS, data entry, journals, Bank reconciliations, GL).
• Prepare Quarterly management report (P&L, BS).
• GST Filling
• Liaising with external auditor, corporate secretary and tax agent.
• To follow-up with main contractors and sales team on issues relating to project progress claims with the aim of obtaining adequate information for QS to make timely decision on claim outcome.
• Check Payments Certificates from clients against the progress claim submitted.
• Manage and respond to email enquiries raised by clients in a timely manner.
• Keep track of agreed timelines/ milestones and ensure that these are properly met.
• Other ad-hoc admin jobs assigned by the Managements.

Job Description:
• Handle import and export shipment processing & arrangement.
- Must be well versed in shipping & business documents as well as their terminology in particular: L/C, B/L, D/O, switch B/L process, incoterms, invoice, PO.
• Coordination with various parties, including customers, suppliers, overseas agents, forwarders relating to shipment clearance, delivery and collection.
• Maintaining records of:
- Warehouse stock level & place order timely.
- Company product information in an organized manner.
- Accounts receivable/ payable to generate reports.
• Have working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, accounting software, digital archive procedures).
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirement:
• Minimum Higher Certificate in Logistics Management or equivalent.
• Must have minimum 7 years relevant experience with shipping/ freight forwarding/document.
• Prior experience in air freight/ sea freight/ trucking assignments will be highly favoured.
• Able to read, write and communicate in both English and Chinese.
• Analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently, work independently with minimal supervision. Skilled in phone communication with various parties as described above.
