1. Joint Income Scheme
Combine your income with a family member (other than your spouse) to qualify for the Work Permit application.

Eligibility: Singapore citizen or PR, 21+, and not an undischarged bankrupt.
Family members eligible: Sibling, parent, child, or relative staying with you.
Income requirement: Must earn more than the family member you're combining income with.
2. Sponsorship Scheme
For seniors aged 60+ who do not earn an income and are not living with any working adults.

💰 Paying Your Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) Salary – Key Responsibilities as an Employer

As an employer, it is important to adhere to MOM guidelines for paying your FDW. Here’s a quick overview:

📅 When to Pay:
✔ Pay her salary every month, no later than 7 days after the salary period ends.
✔ The salary period must not exceed 1 month.

💳 How to Pay:
👉 Bank Transfer:

We recommend paying your FDW via direct bank transfer into her personal account (not a joint account).

If your FDW requests it, you must pay via bank transfer.

Assist her in opening a bank account if needed.

👉 Cash Payment:

Keep a record of all salary payments.

Both you and your FDW must sign the record as confirmation of payment.

🚫 Important Rules to Follow:
🚫 You must not keep your FDW’s salary or any of her money, even if she requests it.
🚫 Avoid holding her bank book or ATM card.
