DANS Angels attended PAOS Philippine Embassy Singapore.

The PAOS (Post-Arrival Orientation Seminar) conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Singapore is a mandatory orientation program for newly arrived Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), especially domestic helpers. It educates them on their rights, responsibilities, available government services, and how to adjust to life and work in Singapore.

Purpose of PAOS
Orientation for new arrivals: Helps OFWs transition smoothly into their new workplace and living environment.

Rights & Responsibilities: Explains labor rights, obligations under the employment contract, and legal protections.

Government Services: Introduces programs from OWWA, SSS, Pag-IBIG, and other agencies.

Cultural Adjustment: Provides guidance on Singapore’s customs, traditions, and workplace practices.

Safety & Welfare: Covers health, safety, financial literacy, and how to avoid scams.
