Can WORKPERMIT holders stay in HDB?

Yes, Work Permit holders can legally stay in HDB flats as tenants, provided they are Malaysian, or if non-Malaysian, working in specific industries like manufacturing. The permit must be valid for at least 6 months. Non-Malaysian workers from construction, marine, or process sectors are generally not allowed to rent HDB flats.
