Who says Myanmar helpers can’t cook? 👩🏻🍳❤️
While finding a helper who already understands Chinese cooking can be challenging, I’ve come to realise that as compared to fresh Myanmar helpers vs Myanmar helpers with previous overseas working experience, it is easier to train them to adapt to Singapore-style home cooking with the right guidance, patience and their willingness to learn.
Here’s one of my Myanmar helpers whom I’ve personally trained for the past 2 months. And look at her now! 🥰 She’s able to prepare decent Chinese dishes for her employer and the family.
This is why I always believe that a helper’s nationality doesn’t define her ability. Sometimes, what matters more is her attitude, willingness to learn and determination to improve.
With proper guidance, patience and consistent training, progress is possible. ❤️
