On 8 June, the Ambassador of Bhutan to Singapore, His Excellency Mr Kinzang Dorji, together with management from GEMS Recruit, visited Marina Bay Sands to gain a better understanding of the working environment and conditions for Bhutanese employees in Singapore.

During the visit, the Ambassador met with the Marina Bay Sands management team and learnt more about its diverse international workforce. With Bhutanese employees joining the organisation, Bhutan has become the 51st country represented among its staff.
​
The Ambassador also interacted with the Bhutanese employees who will be working in Singapore, encouraging them to embrace the opportunity, continue learning and strive for excellence in their respective roles.
​
The visit reflects the importance of supporting Bhutanese professionals as they gain valuable international exposure, develop new skills and represent Bhutan abroad.

Shipping Assistant (Export Documentation) MNC, Clementi - Up to $2700

Responsibilities

Processing of Export documentations.
Review, process, and confirm customer documentation (Invoices, Bill of Ladings Memos, etc.)
Ensure smooth flow of shipment, entry & correction of data and technical concerns in regards to all parts of the export processes; such as tariff, bill of ladings, receipts.
Coordination with relevant stakeholders eg, Shipping Lines, Forwarders, CFS, Operation Team.
Prioritization of activities, depending on the criticality.
Coordinating and monitor closely with back office.
Issuing payment voucher to shipping line with the rate quoted upon booking.
Support any other adhoc assignments whenever require from time to time.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field

Responsibilities:

Provide administration support to the sales department.
