Job Title: Finance Manager (Petroleum Export & Import)
Reports to: Managing Director & BOD
🌐Location: Lamadaw Tsp
🕘Working Hours : 9:00 pm to 5:00 pm
📴Off Day : Sunday + Public Holiday
💵Salary: up to 2,500,000 mmk
(based on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and cost analysis
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to Managing Director.
- Develop and deliver brand-wise Profit & Loss statements with detailed cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis for our three main categories, however, you have to firstly focus on two categories.
- Provide variance analysis, cash flow reporting, and key financial metrics with actionable commentary to support strategic decision-making.
Cost Management
- Establish and maintain product costing models for all SKUs across the two brands, capturing raw materials, direct labor, packaging, and overhead allocation.
- Analyze gross margins by brand, product line, and customer segment to support pricing strategies and profitability improvement
- Monitor and report on cost drivers, including raw material price fluctuations, to provide early warning on margin erosion
Team Leadership
- Supervise, mentor, and manage the existing finance operations team, including accountants, data entry staff, and cashiers.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and segregation of duties.
- Conduct performance evaluations and identify training and development opportunities to build a high-performing, accountable finance culture.
Internal Controls
- Design and implement internal control systems over cash handling, accounts payable/receivable, inventory, procurement, and production inputs
- Ensure full compliance with all tax regulations.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to the directors regarding margin improvements, and expansion opportunities for our Brand.
Candidate Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., LCCI, ACCA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance manager role, preferably within the Food Manufacturing and distribution sector.
• Technical Skills: advanced MS Excel skills and Expert proficiency in ERP hu software.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of inventory accounting, supply chain finance, and multi-brand reporting.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership presence, the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders, and high integrity.
