We are working with a leading global clothing supplier who design and manufacture for a wide portfolio of retailers and well-known brands across menswear, womenswear and childrenswear.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Menswear Garment Technologist to join their established technical team of 5 based in London.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality menswear product across multiple customers/brands , ensuring consistency in fit, quality, and construction from development through to bulk production.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage fit sessions, ensuring garments meet required standards for fit, quality and construction
· Daily communication with suppliers and factories to support development and production
· Ensure correct testing standards and methods are applied across all products
· Review and approve test reports and AQL reports to maintain bulk quality standards
· Develop and refine new and existing fits, ensuring accurate grading
· Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure the final product meets expectations for quality, design and fit
· Manage and track critical paths, flagging any risks or delays to production teams
· Assess new factory proposals, ensuring compliance with ethical and production requirements
· Support the development of fabrics and trims
· Liaise with distribution centres regarding any delivery or production issues
· Review and approve care labels, wash instructions and symbols

About You – A list of must haves to be shortlisted

· Previous and recent experience as a Menswear Garment Technologist be it with a high street supplier or high street retailer
· Strong understanding of fit, grading, and garment construction
· Experience working with overseas factories and suppliers
· Confident managing multiple accounts and working in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Commutable daily to London and eligible to work in the UK

We have been working with this growing 10 years old menswear supplier for a number of years and they started very small and have organically slowly built a reputation of great product for menswear casual brands and retailers in the UK. They are looking to and to the work force an experienced account manager who will be a linchpin in the business due to ongoing success.

UTIES:

The Account Manager will be liaising with retail buyers , the design team and supporting staff as well as external suppliers.
Meeting with buyers to discuss requirements and take briefs (selling as they go)
Work close with tech and design teams to gather all info for sampling and costing.
Deal with costings and lead time negotiation.
Confirming and raise orders.
Deal with sample and trim management –
Manage the Critical path from order to delivery via factories and retailers
Liaise with shipping.

MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED

The candidate suitable ideally will have recent worked in UK Menswear supplier in a similar role or as Senior Merchandiser in the same type of business and have "upselling mentality or even a buyer with a UK Menswear retailer. They will look at account managers in other menswear clothing areas but a passion for menswear would be important, it’s not just a job.
Solid experience of dealing and liaison with retail buyers
A great understanding of critical path management including shipping and factory liaison.
First class English communication skills (written and verbal)
Based commutable to Manchester centre daily and eligible to work in the UK

About the Role

We are working with an well‑established Leicester‑based womenswear knitwear manufacturer supplying high‑quality fashion knitwear to leading UK and international brands. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Shima Seiki Programmer to join the technical knitwear team.

In this role, you will translate design concepts into production‑ready knitting programs, supporting the development of fashionable, commercially viable womenswear knitwear while ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency across production.

Key Responsibilities

Program and develop styles using Shima Seiki SDS ONE APEX systems
Translate design packs and specifications into accurate, machine‑ready programs
Prepare and manage knitting data for production
Work closely with Design, Product Development, Sampling, and Machine Operators
Support sampling, first offs, and bulk production troubleshooting
Ensure high standards of accuracy, repeatability, and production efficiency
Contribute to continuous improvement in knit structure development and machine utilisation

About You

The successful candidate will need to have to be shortlisted :

Proven and recent experience programming Shima Seiki knitting machines
Strong technical knowledge of knit structures, stitch development, and yarn behaviour
Experience working within womenswear knitwear (fashion or commercial sector preferred)
Ability to interpret design concepts and technical packs accurately

We are working with an established clothing manufacturer who in turn work with a range of UK and international customers. From concept to production, we pride ourselves on quality, efficiency, and strong design‑led solutions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Menswear Designer to join the design team.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a junior designer looking to continue to build hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with senior designers and other departments, you will support the development of commercial menswear collections from initial concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of menswear collections across key categories (woven, jersey, outerwear, etc.)
Create and update technical sketches, CADs, and design packs
Research trends, fabrics, trims, colours, and market competitors
Support fabric and trim sourcing, liaising with suppliers when required
Assist with sample development, fittings, and amendments
Ensure designs meet brand, quality, and cost requirements
Support the team with seasonal presentations and range planning
Maintain organised design files and sample libraries

Must have experience :

Recent experience in a Junior Menswear design role either with a UK high street supplier or retailer
Strong understanding of current high street fashion trends
Good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Basic understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes
Highly organised with good attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
