What an inspiring day! 🌟

I was proud to join an amazing panel with Rukasana Bhaijee (Financial Times), Ruth David (Bloomberg) and Josh Salisbury (Full Fact) at the NCTJ’s Inclusion in Journalism: 20 Years of the Journalism Diversity Fund conference — discussing Inclusion in Journalism under pressure: why it still matters.

It was brilliant to share how the BBC’s apprenticeship programmes are helping to level up qualifications and open up routes into journalism and production for people from all backgrounds.

Having been involved in the JDF’s beginnings 20 years ago, it’s incredible to see how far it’s come — with almost 700 bursaries awarded to help aspiring journalists succeed. 👏
