ROTATIONAL CHIEF AV/IT OFFICER REQUIRED FOR A 100m+ MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE)

We are recruiting for an experienced and highly professional Chief AV/IT Officer to join the Technical Department onboard a prestigious 100m+ private superyacht.
The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills, experience managing AV/IT projects and contractors, excellent English, and a professional, discreet, proactive and guest-focused approach. Relevant AV/IT, networking, electronics or telecommunications qualifications are preferred.
Working closely with the Captain, Chief Engineer, ETO and Interior Department, key responsibilities include;
· Overall responsibility for onboard AV, IT, entertainment, network and communication systems.
· Maintain and troubleshoot servers, networks, Wi-Fi, audio, video and entertainment systems.
· Manage Starlink, VSAT, LTE/5G and other connectivity services.
· Maintain cybersecurity, network security and user access.
· Provide discreet technical support to Owner, guests and crew.
· Manage maintenance, upgrades, software/firmware updates and documentation.
· Coordinate AV/IT contractors, suppliers and manufacturers.
· Maintain inventory, technical records and critical spares.
· Assist with refit, new-build and AV/IT upgrade projects.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION
· STCW/ENG1
· Minimum 5 years’ relevant AV/IT experience, preferably onboard large vessels
· Previous 100m+ yacht experience highly desirable
· Strong knowledge of IP networking, Wi-Fi, servers, cybersecurity and AV systems
· Crestron, Lutron, Kaleidescape, Dante, Cisco, Ubiquiti, Peplink or equivalent advantageous
· Relevant AV/IT, networking, electronics or telecommunications qualifications preferred
· Must be Covid vaccinated & willing to undergo medical screening
· Excellent references required

· Rotation: 10 Weeks On / 10 Weeks Off
