This year's theme is encourages more open, honest and compassionate conversations.

At MPI, conversations are at the heart of what we do every day. Interviews, good news calls, job searches, career changes, contract updates… and sometimes conversations that have nothing to do with work.

So let's not underestimate the power of simply checking in.

You don't need to have all the answers. You don't need to know exactly what to say.

Sometimes, it starts with noticing someone seems different, asking how they're really doing, and giving them the time and space to talk.

Listen. Ask. Take them seriously. Help them find support.

A conversation won't solve everything. But it could be the conversation someone needed.

Today we’re celebrating 10 years of Becci at MPI!

As our Lead Pro & Tech Rail Recruiter, Becci has built fantastic relationships with clients and contractors over the years. She’s incredibly popular with the contractors she looks after and regularly receives brilliant testimonials for the service and support she provides.

But it’s not just her recruitment skills that make Becci such a valued member of the team. She’s always happy to help, always ready with a kind word (and plenty of compliments!) and has a friendly, positive personality that makes everyone feel welcome and valued. 😊

And, of course, anyone who knows Becci knows she loves an MPI party… and you can often find her on the dance floor! 💃🕺

The next step in our digital upgrade is almost here!

Following our recent announcement, we’re pleased to confirm that our new database, payroll and finance systems will go live on 14 September 2026.

This is an important milestone for MPI, helping us improve efficiency and enhance the experience we provide to our clients, candidates and contractors.

And this is just the beginning, with further digital developments, including our planned portal and app, to follow.

Please submit timesheets for hours worked up to 6 September by midday on 8 September.

As we come to the end of , we’re rounding off our Meet the Team series by introducing two of the people helping to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes of our aviation recruitment.

Meet Leonie and Jaime! 👋

Leonie is our Central Compliance Manager and Jaime is our Compliance Supervisor, and between them they bring a wealth of experience from working across the complex compliance side of our rail business.

They also supported our aviation team throughout last year’s TUI winter maintenance programme, and they’re back supporting the team again as we get ready for another busy winter. ✈️

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes before a candidate starts a new role – from checks and documentation to keeping in touch and making sure everyone has what they need.

We asked Leonie and Jaime a few quick questions about supporting our candidates, working as a team and what they’re looking forward to this winter. Take a look and get to know them a little better!

✈️ It’s National Aviation Week , so we thought it was the perfect time to introduce you to some of the team behind our aviation recruitment!

We’ve had a few changes within our aviation team recently, so say hello to Helen, Ellen and Tracey!

They may be new to our TUI winter maintenance recruitment programme, but they’re certainly not new to aviation recruitment! Between them, they have an incredible 86 years of experience at MPI!

With that much experience between them, they know aviation recruitment inside out and will be busy over the coming months finding and supporting the skilled engineers needed for another busy winter maintenance season.

We’ve asked them a few quick questions so you can get to know them a little better.
