It is with deep sadness that we share the peaceful passing of our founder, Robert William "Bill" Po***ck at his home in Monaco on July 7, 2026, at the age of 97.
Bill had a rare gift: he saw what people were capable of long before they could see it themselves, and then made sure they had every reason to prove him right. That belief became Drake International and over 75 years, it built an industry and made the world a better place.
Bill measured success not by what he built, but by the opportunities he created for others. True to his conviction that leadership means preparing others to carry the mission forward, he made certain that work would outlast him.
When asked how he wished to be remembered, his answer was simple: "For making it a better world."
And he did. In his honour, we carry that work forward.
Bill’s friends, colleagues and the millions of lives touched through Drake International remain his enduring legacy.
For the next 75 years and beyond, we are Drake International.
