The role reports to Finance Head and plays a significant role in the finance management team at Head Office.

The purpose of this role is to lead the optimisation, standardisation, and integration of accounting systems and financial business processes across the mining operations and divisions ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong cost control, compliance, and decision-ready management information aligned with corporate and statutory requirements.

10 Yearsโ€™ experience in mining or heavy industry, 5 of which should be at management level.
Proven experience in accounting systems, cost accounting, and business process improvement.
Experience in risk management and compliance audits.
Strong understanding of PGM mining cost structures.

Our client is a blue-chip mining operation and offers excellent conditions of employment to attract the right person to join their finance department.
