Because you are so strong, we sometimes forget that you get tired too.
Because you carry so much so easily, we forget the weight you bear.
Because you show up without fanfare, we forget the sacrifices you make in silence.
Because you lead with quiet strength, we forget the courage behind your calm.
Because you're always there, we forget how much it takes to be that constant.
Today, we pause to say thank you.
To the dads, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles, mentors, and father figures—
We see you. We honour you. We appreciate you.
Thank you for the early mornings and late nights.
For the steady hands and reassuring presence.
For the protection, the provision, the guidance, and the love, often unspoken, but always felt.
You are pillars of strength and examples of integrity.
