Leading consulting company based in Kwa-Zulu Natal is urgently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their fast growing team;
Responsibilities:
• Oversight of Civil and Structural Infrastructure Contract Management encompassing Building Services (Internal Wet Services & External Infrastructure) and Township Services (Residential Roads, Bulk Earthworks, Sanitation, Water Reticulation & Stormwater).
• Compilation of comprehensive reports across all project stages, from inception and feasibility/business plans to the gathering of concept and viability data, design development, tender and procurement, and close-out reports.
• Holistic management of contracts and projects, involving direct interaction with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include attending progress meetings, generating payment certificates, developing cashflows, producing progress reports, updating risk registers, handling invoices, and addressing contractual claims.
• Leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams, overseeing junior staff, and executing the implementation of designs and reports.
• Proven experience in preparing reports tailored for business plans, grant-funding proposals, and multifaceted projects requiring collaboration across various disciplines.
• A track record of effective communication and collaboration with clients, contractors, diverse disciplines, and various stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications:
• Professional registration with ECSA as Pr Eng/Tech or with SACPCMP as a Pr. CPM.
• Minimum B.Sc / B Eng / BTech Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum Ten (10) years practical experience in management of Civil/Structural infrastructure, contract management, quality control monitoring, report writing etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience in managing GCC & JBCC Contracts and dealing with claims will be an advantage.
• Experience in Civil 3D and AutoCAD software will be an added advantage
