General workers description and responsibilities

Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repairs of buildings, facilities and equipment.
Note: This Job Description may not encompass the entire scope of this role, as other duties maybe assigned by management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the welders in their general tasks;
• Inform the supervisor of any problems, defects or non-conformities;
• Follow instructions specified in procedures;
• Perform the required maintenance work on equipment;
• Keep equipment clean and in good working condition;
• Occasionally operates hoists and cranes;
• Verify quality of work done;
• Maintain workshop in a clean and orderly manner;
• Performs other related work as required.

The Company Driver’s responsibilities include dropping and picking up staff, collecting various packages, and maintaining a travel log to record work hours, travel-time and locations traveled to. You should also be able to perform routine checks on the company vehicle.

To be successful as a Company Driver, you should ensure that all transportation duties are carried out in a timely manner. Ultimately, a top-performing Company Driver should be able to ensure that addresses and other transportation details are correct before undertaking any pick-up or drop-off duties.

Company Driver Responsibilities:
Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.

Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.

Analyze all products through various stages of production to ensure optimal level of quality and maintain optimal cleanliness of plants and ensure proper handling of all materials and products.

Assist all press operators and ensure completion of all flip sheets and maintain cleanliness in press at all times and monitor delivery of all products within required timeframe.

Coordinate with Production Manager and perform all general duties as required by same.

Handle all emergency and difficult situations efficiently and investigate all issues to provide resolution for same.

Perform all work according to work orders and load and unload materials as per requirement.

Assist to move all materials from storage area to work site and provide tags and labels to all materials and provide all required information on same.
