From the Tshipi Bike Handover in Kuruman, we proudly celebrated another meaningful step in creating access to work opportunities for young people entering employment. 🏍️

Through our Lularides programme, we officially handed over bikes to young drivers who are now beginning their journey into the workforce. This initiative continues to bridge the gap between unemployment and opportunity by making mobility more accessible and practical for daily work needs.

This handover was more than just an event, it was a moment of empowerment, responsibility, and forward movement. Each beneficiary represents a story of resilience and a step toward financial independence.

Creating opportunities. Building futures.

In partnership with the Department of Employment and Labour, Lulaway continues to make a meaningful impact through skills development programmes designed to tackle unemployment and empower communities across South Africa.

Through the UIF Labour Activation Programmes, beneficiaries received practical training across multiple industries, creating pathways to employment and entrepreneurship.

Out of 10,000 funded beneficiaries, 5,163 individuals successfully secured further employment, highlighting the power of skills development and strategic partnerships in driving economic growth and opportunity.

On Tuesday we hosted the inaugural , and the room confirmed something important:

South Africa does not have a shortage of ideas. Policies. Departments or financing.
We have a lack and need for greater alignment and collaboration.

From government leaders to industry bodies, SETAs, business leaders, labour voices, and ecosystem partners, the conversation was honest, urgent, and necessary.

Across both panels, Future Skills & Pathways and Regulatory & Policy Gaps, one message stood out:
- The world of work is changing faster than our systems are.
- Skills development cannot exist in isolation.
- Policy cannot move without industry.
- Youth employment cannot be solved through fragmented interventions.
- We need coordinated pathways.
- We need accountability.
- We need ex*****on.
