The IT Service Desk Agent will be responsible for the timely and effective response to IT user requests, queries and problems through the receipt and logging of these, as well as the provision of 1st line support to customers.

Provide support on the delivery of

three-year financial plans, in line with the Groupโ€™s strategy. This will include providing support in analysing the Groupโ€™s rolling forecasts, valuing the various incentive share schemes and providing business intelligence to support business decision making.

โ€ข Provide commercial insight and analysis of business performance, identifying underlying trends and challenging the business performance.
โ€ข Support the strategic planning and strategic initiatives of the group by providing financial planning and modelling skills.
โ€ข Assist in financial forecasting by interrogating current revenue and expense projects to assess viability, reasonability and inherent risks.
โ€ข Support the expense management function to develop and manage expense management and allocation methodologies and drive efficiencies across the group.
โ€ข Collaborate with the business to ensure this meets with changing requirements.
โ€ข Deliver timeous, accurate and value-adding analysis and insight to stakeholders.
โ€ข Make recommendations that highlight the risks, confidence rating and the impact of variables on business results and advise business.
โ€ข Create visualisation of the insights identified from the financial analysis to assist business decision making.
โ€ข Analyse the financial results of key competitors to understand the implications of their strategies and potential implications for the segment.
โ€ข Provide ad-hoc analysis and insight on specific issues, such as investor relations, financial modelling, industry and competitor analysis, business plans around merger and acquisition activities and large-scale organic investments.
โ€ข Contribute to teamโ€™s high-performance culture.


Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

โ€ข Nearly qualified Actuary/Qualified CA/ CFA
โ€ข 3 to 5 yearsโ€™ experience required.
โ€ข Experience in engaging with diverse stakeholders.
โ€ข Life insurance specific experience will be highly advantageous.
โ€ข Able to manage stress, pressure and competing demands.
โ€ข Planning, coordination and follow through skills.
โ€ข Able to manage change and shifting priorities.
โ€ข Sound research and analytical skills.
โ€ข Strong skills in report writing and in presenting complex information to a diverse audience.
โ€ข Strong desire to add value and make a difference.
โ€ข Self-starter - can run independently with large projects.
โ€ข Team player and can coordinate effectively across multiple functions and disciplines.
โ€ข Adhere to governance, risk and compliance requirements.
