Big wins in motion! 🏍️📦

Through the Lularides programme, supported by the Gauteng Department of Economic Development (GDED), youth are stepping into delivery logistics roles at Checkers stores, using motorbikes to power daily deliveries.

This initiative is creating real access to employment while giving young people hands-on experience in last-mile delivery, customer service, and logistics operations.

Every ride is more than a delivery, it’s a step toward independence and a stronger future.

What a powerful week across our programmes!

From the Tshipi Bike Handover in Kuruman, where we officially handed over bikes to young drivers stepping into employment, to the Harmony Balance Test in Dobsonville, where candidates were assessed and prepared for entry into the last-mile logistics space, this week was all about movement, opportunity, and impact.

Each bike handed over and every assessment completed represents one thing: a young person getting closer to meaningful work through mobility and skills development.

At Lularides, we continue to turn training into opportunity and opportunity into employment.

From Kriel in Mpumalanga, Mandisa Mofokeng’s journey is a powerful story of resilience and growth. ❤️

After losing her father at a young age, she faced many challenges but remained determined to build a better future for herself and her family.

Mandisa was part of the Exxaro Youth Program (2022–2023), where she started her journey as a bike driver through the learnership opportunity. She later transitioned into administration, continuing her professional growth with Lularides as an Administrator.

Today, Mandisa is furthering her studies at varsity while continuing to grow personally and professionally.

We are proud of her strength, perseverance, and the journey she continues to build for herself. 🌟
