Job Title: Project Coordinator
Department: IT
Location: PILANESBERG, RUSTENBURG
Reports to: Digital Journey Project Manager
Job Purpose:
The Project Coordinator will coordinate the schedule, budget, issues and risks of the project. The successful candidate ensure the project management framework is well organized and that it runs smoothly. This includes communicating with various
departments in the organization and external clients to ensure clarity.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications:
1. Matric.
2. Degree in Business Administration / IT or equivalent
3. Project management certifications advantageous
4. Working knowledge of project management software
Experience:
Creation and management of project documentation
Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Liaising with management and clients to identify and define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals
Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets
Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to achieve maximum benefit
Assign roles and tasks to dedicated team members, based on individual strengths and abilities
Build the skill sets of individual team members and capture overall learnings for the company
Achieve organizational goals while upholding standards and best practices
Minutes writing and hosting meetings
Skills & Knowledge Required:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects
Excellent interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
