Millwright
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Millwright to join our talented team. This is a
permanent contract position based at a Mineral Processing plant located in Boshoek, North West.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient and safe operation of our plant, ensuring optimal production
of high-quality minerals while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, utilizing your expertise and technical skills to contribute to our
ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant equipment
• Fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems
• Maintain motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, mills, and panels
• Conduct inspections and complete job cards accurately
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Ensure compliance with mine health and safety regulations
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the workshop and plant
Job Requirements:
• *Qualified Millwright Trade Certificate (Red Seal)*
• _```Minimum 3–5 years plant maintenance experience mining environment``_ `
*• Medium Voltage training Certificate*
• Knowledge of motors, VSDs, pumps, transformers, and PLC systems
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be medically fit to work in a plant environment
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong fault-finding ability
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team player with high safety awareness
• Work standby and overtime
• PLC will be advantage
