HR OFFICER: PORT ELIZABETH

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the end to end recruitment process
Ensure onboarding/ induction of new employees on all levels
Assist with learning and development interventions
Consult with management in order to compile WSP for the Eastern Cape region
Update and maintain training records
Compile actual training reports
Manage the benefit administration processes
Submission of Pension/Provident/Medical Aid and Life Assurance fund applications
Assist with basic industrial relations function
Provide management with absenteeism information to manage all aspects of absenteeism
Capturing of disciplinary records and provide support to management

REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant National Diploma
Travel off-site/overnight stay
Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
Business English: Fluent
Computer literacy (Intermediate)

Occupational Health Nurse (Bloemfontein)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct medical examinations (pre-employment, pre-placement, exit and annual medicals)
Treatment of injuries on duty and Register Occupational Injuries and Diseases as per legislation
Dispense medicine according to legislation
Liaise with medical specialists, doctors, hospitals and management
Provide and maintain an annual program for annual medical surveillance
Update and maintain all permanent employee files
Update and maintain IOD documentation and register
Issue monthly report on relevant statistics
Order and maintain medical stock levels
Arrange for annual calibration & service for relevant equipment
Attend First Aider meetings and assist with training
Conduct workplace hygiene inspections
Prepare and participate in internal and external audits
Promote Health and Safety consciousness on company premises by holding training and awareness sessions

REQUIREMENTS:
Registered Professional Nurse with additional qualification in Occupational Health Nursing
Valid certificates in Audiometry, Spirometry, Vision and Licence to Dispense
Registration with South African Nursing Council and SASOHN
At least 2 years’ experience

Responsibilities:
Manage the team:
Conduct shift meetings
Drive productivity (OEE, OPP)
Ensure quality assurance:
Apply quality assurance to the process and ensure integrity of the product

Transport Manager: (Cape Town)

Responsibilities:
Enforce safety and housekeeping programme on an on-going basis including housekeeping of the yard
Manage damage and theft
Manage approx. 90 staff members
Manage expenses/budget in the department. (E.g. Overtime, repairs, diesel, etc.)
