The SANC is introducing its new Member Management System (MMS) on 21 April 2026

Dear Stakeholder

The SANC is introducing the Member Management System (MMS) , called SANCConnect via the SANC Business Hub on the SANC website: www.sanc.co.za through a dedicated button.

The MMS is a strategic initiative that aims to modernise and digitise the Council’s core business functions, and thereby also improving service delivery. The MMS will ultimately (once the project
is finalised) replace the old SANC Nurse Register. Click the link for more details www.sanc.co.za/sanc-business-hub/.
One of the first features of the MMS project is the NEI module (MVP), which digitises the end-to-end Nursing Education Institution (NEI) processes. The NEI module (MVP) will be rolled
out from 21 April 2026 with the following functions:
- New NEI profile creation and Profile approval
- Existing NEI logging in and checking their imported data
- Setting up NEI
- Staff Management - Adding staff members their roles and permissions
- Adding clinical facilities
- Adding Campuses
- Adding Physical resources.
The NEI module (MVP) will ultimately enable the online submission of accreditation and re-accreditation applications, evaluation of applications, scheduling and management of
inspections, submission of remediation (Quality Improvement Plans), tracking of application status, and the issuing of accreditation decisions and certificates.
Subsequent to the introduction of the NEI module (MVP) the MMS project will include the following MVPs until its eventual conclusion:

- Registration
- Foreign Registration
-Examination and Qualifications
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Cash Management
- Employer Portal
- Removals and Restorations
- Sales
