5 interview tips🔌🔌
1. Tell us about yourself: don’t just say “I’m a very hardworking person,My name is Gold Singh, i am 26 years old and i live in Cape Town,I passed my matric in 2014 and went to further my studies at UCT where i graduated in Diploma in Marketing. I have worked as an Educator’s Assistant (you might add job description). I am a good team player and a very hard worker (now you have to give a background story for this statement like, in my previous work i never missed a deadline and my manager always complimented me for my professionalism.)
2.Why should we hire you? The job listing states that you require someone with good communication skills and a good team player. I think one quality that really sets me apart from other people is my ability to work well in a team. No matter what team I might be in, I always end up making friends quickly. I'm also really good at motivating my teammates to give it their all without pushing them or micromanaging them.
3.What are your strengths?- I would say it’s my ability to work well with others. I have always enjoyed working as part of a team and find that my collaborative nature is one of my strongest professional attributes. Whatever statement you make, tell them a background story to make your statement believable. Umzekelo, “In my last role as a project leader, I was able to meet all deadlines and deliverables by improving team collaboration via new processes and software. I am confident that I can bring this strength to your team and contribute to building a positive, collaborative work environment.”
4. What are your weaknesses? Never tell your weakness straight. Make your weakness your strength. For example “Because i am a good team player, I get a little frustrated when my team slack off.”
5. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?- Here they want to see if you’re willing to work with them for a long term and be committed so ungathi “In five years, I see myself as an integral part of the company who has helped contribute to the growth and success of the organization.”
