Skilled Setter – Philippi, Cape Town – R110 Per Hour

A Plastic manufacturing company is seeking a Skilled Setter to join their team and play a pivotal role in our production process.

Responsibilities:

Identify and rectify technical issues on production equipment.

Conduct fault analysis and problem-solving independently.

Develop and implement maintenance plans.

Set and adjust machines for optimal performance.

Liaise with managers and internal/external stakeholders for effective communication and problem resolution.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements:

Secondary Education (Grade 12)

Minimum N2 in Tool, Jig & Die trade theory with trade certification (red seal) preferred

5 years of relevant setting experience

Sound understanding of technical drawings and fault-finding principles

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Passion for career growth in packaging with environmental awareness

Experience on machines like (but not limited to), MB50, PF6, etc.

We are looking for somebody trained in doing facials, manicures and pedicures, waxing and massages. Applicants who are qualified in doing lash extensions and threading, gel application, sculpture nails will be favourable, but it is not essential.
We will also be providing training in Nimue and RegimA if the applicant is not trained in any of the above.
Requirements :
Qualified health and skincare therapist
Cidesco, Itec or SAAHSP qualifications will also be to your advantage
Friendly or bubbly personality
Computer literate
In general somebody who is willing to be a team player, work hard, build relationships with the clients and go that extra mile.
