JOB TITLE: Lab Specialist/
Production Operator
JOB SUMMARY
· The lab specialist is responsible for the daily operating production equipment to assist in the daily production of the various E-Liquids that we manufacture, among other daily tasks given by management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Reports to work daily and is ready to work at the scheduled start time.
· Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift.
· Properly loads raw components into/onto equipment per standard operating procedures, ensuring that the correct bottles, labels, and boxes are used.
· Always maintains a safe and clean work environment.
· Prepare completed products for packaging and shipment.
· Record production and procedures such as batches processed and results.
· Assist with cleaning, sterilization and organization of all equipment, workspace, and storage areas.
· Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to industry and company specifications.
· Spot checks batch, date, and overall appearance of finished products.
· Inspect and remove defective products.
· Provides support and/or assists other departments within the facility.
· Support team leads/management as needed.
· Maintain fundamental knowledge of all areas requiring support and additional staff.
· Work cooperatively and jointly with all line staff, team leads, and supervisors.
· Meet daily and weekly changes - including potential scheduling changes.
· Follow essential duties of the specific department assigned - mixing, shipping, fulfilment, etc.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL
DEMANDS:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls.
· Employee must have hand and upper body dexterity; can push, pull, carry, and lift racks, carts and large trash bins.
· The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 25kg.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus.
· Maintain a professional and positive attitude.
· Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
· Must be physically capable for standing for long periods of time
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Clean criminal Record
· Non-Smoker (Va**ng allowed)
· High school diploma or equivalent
· General knowledge of lab or production preferred.
· Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or bottling facility is highly desirable, but not required. We will provide adequate training and development opportunities.
· Signing of Non-disclosure agreement will be requirement.
WORKING HOURS:
8H00 – 16H00 with one lunch hour (12h00-13h00 or 13h00-14h00)
5 days per week
Must be able to work overtime as and when required
SALARY:
R8000 per month after tax deduction
