The Black Lawyers Association (Wits Chapter) and the Black Management Forum (Wits Chapter) in conjunction with the Law Students Council hereby invite you to a Panel Discussion that will be themed "Towards a better Africa."
The Panel discussion brings to Wits Chief Executive officers (CEO's) from various companies and a Law Firm. They will discuss the importance of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement, the importance of the youth in building a better economy for the continent, Employment, importance for peace on the continent, challenges that investors face in the continent and what can be done to solve such issues and many more other issues will be discussed.

The keynote speaker will be Mr Naiken who is group director for SCA.

The Panel is as follows:
1) Mr Kenny Kunene-CEO of smart mobile technology company YooKoo (Pty) Ltd.
2) Ms Savita Mbuli- MD of Growth Media and Events.
3) Mr NJ Ayuk- CEO of Centurion Law Group- Africa's largest law firm in terms of Oil and Energy.
4) Ms Konosoang "Kay" Asare-Bediako- company director for Moshe Capital a South African advisory and Investment company.
5) Mr Ray Chiimba- CEO of Africawide group of companies.
6) Ms Nzinga Qunta- SABC News Anchor. (moderator).

Venue : LB 146- Wits Law School, West Campus.
Refreshments shall be served.

This event will also serve as a networking event for students with CEOs who are constantly looking for graduates to work for them.

We are excited to announce that our next EFS speaker is Kohei Saito from Osaka City University, Japan. He will be visiting Wits next week Tuesday to Thursday to give seminars on his book: Karl Marx's Ecosocialism: Capital, Nature, and the Unfinished Critique of Political Economy, and a public lecture on Marx and the Anthropocene. The Wits Farmers Market will be held this Friday at the Sanctuary (by the Cricket Fields). Wits staff and students can purchase fresh produce from urban farmers who have been integral in the establishment of food gardens on campus to address food insecurity. Market opens from 12:30 – 14:00.
