Permanent position available in a lovely Retirement Village in Craighall Park for an RN (Registered Nurse).
Key Purpose of Position:
To manage, plan, support and evaluate preventative, curative and rehabilitative care related to residents.
The Registered Nurse (Sr) will be working in the Main Building nursing care.
Requirements and Qualification:
Nursing Qualification
Registered with the SANC
Have a valid SANC registration certificate.
5 - 10 years’ experience in this field.
Be able to speak, read and write English.
Physical and mental endurance to work the entire shift.
Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; and able to assist residents with their activities of daily living and transfers.
Supervises:
All Nursing Staff.
Has a direct line function to the Enrolled & Auxiliary Nurses as well as all the carers on the shift.
Supervise, support, evaluate and monitor all nursing staff on shift.
Network, support, and Liaison:
With all other staff to promote professionalism, support, and teamwork at all times.
Working Hours:
The RN’s working hours will be as per monthly roster or as otherwise indicated by the General Manager.
168 Hours per month
Need to be able to work night duty
