Bedford Brew is a brand-new coffee shop opening on 1 September in Bedfordview, Johannesburg and we’re looking for a friendly and reliable Barista to join us from the start.

We’re looking for someone who has a good understanding of coffee preparation, is comfortable working with customers, and is keen to grow with a new coffee shop.

Position details:

* Location: 54 Concorde East Road, Bedfordview, 2008
* Working hours: Daily, 06:00 – 12:00
* Salary: R7,000 per month

A well-established organisation within the food processing/manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead its Quality Assurance, Quality Control and compliance functions.

🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and lead the Quality Control team.
Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP and FSSC 22000 requirements.
Manage internal, customer, certification and regulatory audits.
Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Oversee product inspections, testing and product release.
Manage quality documentation, SOPs and work instructions.
Drive continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
Monitor quality KPIs and provide reports to senior management.
Manage customer quality complaints and supplier quality performance.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and licensing requirements.
Train, coach and develop the Quality team.
🔹 REQUIREMENTS

✅ Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Biochemistry or related field
✅ 5–7 years' Quality Management / Quality Control experience
✅ Minimum 2–3 years' supervisory or management experience
✅ Strong experience with QMS, audits and regulatory compliance
✅ Experience with HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and/or FSSC 22000
✅ Food processing, food manufacturing, rendering or similar manufacturing experience highly advantageous
✅ Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
✅ Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or 5S advantageous
