Edinvest Holdings (Pty) Limited, was born out of the need to address the gaps in the local and eventually global marketplace in terms of the supply and demand for a qualified quality engineering workforce. The appropriate intervention especially in South Africa requires an inter-linked multiple portfolio of entities. Our focus is unequivocal in that we are here to address the shortage of qualified
engineering related skilled workers and raise their standards to world-class. As the parent of a special breed of offspring, Edinvest nurtures growth strategies, effectively allocates resources and assists management in ensuring consistency in quality of output and processes in the specialised engineering education, training and skills development arena we invest in. Our rapidly growing family has the following mix of Strategic Business Units deemed critical in attaining our objectives:
1. TRAINING
The divisions under the Artisan Development Academy banner are focused on engineering related training, trade testing, certification and skills development in the sector. The divisions under this category are:
i. Artisan Dev Construction
ii. Artisan Dev Engineering
iii. Artisan Dev RPL Centre
iv. Artisan Dev Trade Test Centre
v. Artisan Dev Enterprise Development
2. EDUCATION
Our education portfolio is branded as Gateway and currently offers the following:
i. Gateway City College, a private FET with Corporate and Distance Learning divisions. The Gateway stable is currently developing the following new delivery channels ;
a) Gateway Graduate School and Online Training, and
b) Gateway Technical High School
We also have a property company, Edinvest Investment Properties, responsible for the Groups infrastructure requirements.
