Robberies can be costly and devastating for business owners, employees, and patrons. It’s essential to take preventative measures to lower the risk of a robbery in your establishment.

🔵 Do not keep large amounts of cash on your business premises
🔵 Be on the lookout for suspicious activity both outside and inside your premises
🔵 Always have at least two employees open and close the business
🔵 Alarm systems and security cameras should be installed and announced using signage
🔵 Make sure your business is well-lit on the inside and outside
🔵 Check the authenticity of a contractor before granting them access to your business premises
🔵 Be aware of your surroundings when accepting deliveries.

The votes are in, and we have unanimously won over the hearts and minds of the community in the South of Durban at the South Coast Sun Absolute Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

Thousands of residents from Bluff, Amanzimtoti, Athlone Park, Doonside, Illovo Beach, Kingsburgh, Warner Beach and Winklespruit voted Blue Security as the Best Security Company in this Caxton Community Newspaper Awards.

We were proud to partner with SAPS Berea at their annual Crime Awareness Day in Berea Park yesterday.

This event is important to bring together law enforcement and key stakeholders with the aim to empower communities to create safer neighbourhoods.

The action-packed day showcased various demonstrations that provided valuable information to residents on taking an active role in safety. There were exciting entertainment and many activities for the children.

Well done to SAPS Berea and the various stakeholders for a successful day.
